Art Light District Exhibition - Event Production

Art Light District

Art Light District is an Art Exhibition in Hamburg, Germany over the course of 4 days. Founded by the artists Minou and Arian it has found profound success over the last two editions and now for this year’s 3rd exhibition it features around 60 artists.

For its 3rd iteration we partnered up for event content production. Throughout the production I created multiple different visual pieces for promotion, preview and recap purposes.

One thing I would like to highlight are the Artist Introduction Mini Documentaries. From Pre-Production to the last edit, it took around 2 weeks for 6 mini-documentaries. Those visual pieces were intended to bring the Artist closer to the audience and show their human side.

In addition to all of that I got the chance of show cast my photography work during the exhibition as well.

Gerne immer wieder. Vielen Dank für alles!"

- Arian (Gründer/Founder von Art Light District)

“Michi is a creative bomb. He had a great feeling for what we imagined as a client and once again brought us to great ideas that we did not see. The implementation was also insane. The videos are on a top aesthetic level. What I particularly appreciate is that Michi was able to spontaneously have a creative solution for everything for all the challenges during the shooting and brought in many beautiful ideas on his own. Humanly, Michi is a super pleasant and sympathetic guy. Gladly again and again. Thank you for everything!”

    Arian

What does a picture have to have to really look? And what sticks when you leave it again?

Arian is interested in strong images, faces, perception and the question of what triggers a work in the viewer. His works may stand out, irritate or please - it is important that they leave something behind.

    Bernd Muss

What drives an artist further and further? And what can art do with our everyday life?

Bernd talks about the urge to constantly develop and find his own style. With his work, he wants to take people out of everyday life for a moment and give them something.

    Minou

How do you bring joy to the canvas? And how can art pass this feeling on to others?

For Minou, painting is a space where everything else can disappear for a moment. Her large-format, colorful works stand for lightness and joie de vivre - and she wants to pass on exactly this feeling with her art.

    Spëk

How do you control the chaos? And what happens when everyday life, life and art meet?

For spëk, art is exactly this dialogue. His works are full of energy, spontaneous and direct – and the colors need to pop.

    Julio Lazzarini

Julio Lazzarini is Zesar – a graphic designer and screen-printing artist who engages directly and provocatively with social developments, consumerism, power, and superficiality in his work.

    Lola Hamann

With her cubic images, Lola is mainly concerned with triggering something: feelings. What these look like is entirely up to the viewer himself.
