The IRONMAN: 3.8km of Swimming, 180km of biking & finishing off with a marathon 42.2km.

At the Ironman Hamburg European Championship for women the heated race between Laura Philipp & Kat Matthews made up for an incredible show, where Laura Philipp passed Kat Matthews in the last running lap for the win.

Besides the professionals, people of all walks of life try this massiv challenge. This year I captured some moments of this incredible event in my hometown Hamburg. This event is very inspiring and something that I want to do too in a couple of years, if my body lets me.

Since sports & especially an Ironman is all about movement and keeping it moving, I included some movement into this series of photographs.
